A Haiku (or 4) for NaBloPoMo

jennifer · November 15, 2012 ·

It’s day 15 of NaBloPoMo. The ides of NaBloPoMo, if you will.
It only seems fitting to celebrate with a haiku. Or 4.

Typing my heart out
And testing my sanity
It’s NaBloPoMo

It is day 15
Daily blogging takes planning
Halfway there. Don’t stop!

That’s NaBloPoMo

Now on day 15
The ides of NaBloPoMo
Who is still with me?

I wrote these haikus on my phone while waiting for my son’s school bus. I couldn’t decide which one I liked best, so I just posted all of them.

Because that’s what NaBloPoMo is all about. Writing when you can. Writing because you don’t know what else you’d rather do.

Are you doing NaBloPoMo? How’s it going? Please feel free to contribute your own haiku in the comments!

(note: a haiku has 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second and 5 in the third)
