Philanthropy Friday: Creating Unity

I have my Strong is Beautiful wellness weekend starting tonight (more on that next week, more than likely on World Moms Network – stay tuned), so I’m keeping it simple this week.
I’m sharing a video a friend shared on Facebook that features UNITY, an interactive public art project that “helps us celebrate our uniqueness and strengthens our ties to each other.” It is in response to the divisiveness and general negativity we’re currently experiencing in American politics.
We may have different backgrounds and beliefs, but we are all connected in some way as humans.
It also seems timely and quite fitting for the opening day of the Olympics.
Take a look and replicate it if you feel so compelled. (There’s a handy map you can download here.) It’s pretty spectacular.
