Hump Day Haiku: Waiting for a Hole-in-One

jennifer · June 8, 2016 ·

My Monday was spent sitting on the tee of the 15th hole at Brunswick Golf Club waiting for participants of a golf tournament that benefited the nonprofit organization I work for to shoot a hole-in-one.
The lucky golfer would win $10,000 on the spot. And it doesn’t count without a witness, of course.
Sadly, it didn’t happen. Instead I spent the day being entertained by the golfers. It’s too bad there wasn’t a hole-in-one winner. I was prepared to convince him to donate at least half of the money to Tedford Housing. 😉
