Hump Day Haiku: #FightBackInHaiku

jennifer · May 1, 2019 ·

I am angry. And sometimes when I am angry, I start to write haiku. This series of haiku, which I am calling #FightBackInHaiku, is in honor of all the people posting on social media about “Illegals” right now.
Feel free to use these images in comments to angry posts wrought with misinformation. Resist in 17 syllables.
Say it with me. Loudly. So the people in the back can hear.

Finally, this last haiku was written by my good friend, Sierra Carriedo. Gotta give credit where credit is due! It is a good way to end this post.

I feel much better now. How about you?
