Favorite Music of all Time

Music is a huge part of my life. It inspires me. It makes me nostalgic. It makes me happy. It keeps me sane.
Music gives me the chance to be closer to my kids. We have dance parties and get in trouble at the dinner table for not being able to sit still when a good song starts playing.
My husband and I spent more time planning the music that would play when I gave birth to my first son than an actual birth plan. (For the record, Guster on Ice was playing.)
My friend Karla, over at Simple Living Family, just blogged about the top five songs that make her happy. It got me thinking about the music that really gets me going.
Here are my 5 most favorite songs of all time:

  1. “Would” by Alice in Chains
  2. “One” by Metallica
  3. “Where the Streets Have No Name” by U2
  4. “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant” by Billy Joel
  5. “Round Here” by Counting Crows

These are the songs that move me most, for one reason or another. Which songs move you?
