A great way to "feed it back"

jennifer · December 30, 2012 ·

As we near the end of 2012, I wanted to share with you another great organization worthy of a donation. As I noted in my December Giving Pledge post, December is typically the most popular time of the year to give money to charity.
The World Food Programme is the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger and is funded entirely by voluntary donations.
Click on the image below to join WeFeedback, an innovative, global campaign that’s all about sharing food and changing lives. You can actually calculate the impact of your favorite food on the website. For example, if I “shared” what I paid for my favorite pizza – $8 – I could feed 32 children.
Share food, change lives
And here’s a cool video that shows the work the World Food Programme has been doing to provide food assistance in emergency situations from Syria to Eastern Congo.

Wherever you gave this year, I hope the act made you feel like you were making a difference in the world.
I’m guessing it did.
I wrote this post as part of the Global Team of 200, a highly specialized group of Mom Bloggers for Social Good members who focus on maternal health, children, hunger, and women and girls.
